I like it. But... what is it?
My work is going places but it doesn't have a destination yet. Paper collage, drawing, painting, and digital techniques are colliding in wild ways at my studio. From abstract ideas that become an immersive landscape to concrete shapes that imitate representational forms. Drawing inspiration from big nature and all sorts of energy, from crazy explosions to fizzy little bubbles, the images reveal an aesthetic that is ever expanding. My work invites viewers to let their mind wander, exploring themes of whimsy, flat expansion, and beauty for the sake of beauty.
